Robert Glasper (b April 6, 1978) is an American pianist from Houston, Texas. He is a record producer, songwriter, and arranger - and winner of five Grammy Awards.  Since 2005, Glasper has recorded predominantly with Blue Note Records. His acoustic group, the Robert Glasper Trio, features bassist Vicente Archer and drummer Damian Reed.  The Robert Glasper Experiment is an electronic group with core members bassist Derrick Hodge, drummer Mark Colenburg.
