Victor Wooten

 Victor Wooten (b September 11, 1964) is an American bassist, songwriter, and record producer. He has been the bassist for Bela Fleck and the Flecktones since 1988. He is the owner of an independent record label, Vix Records, which he uses to release albums under his own name. He has won five Grammy Awards, three Bass Player of the Year awards, and ranked no. 10 in the Top Bassists of All Time in Rolling Stone magazine.  Since 2000, his summer music camp program has expanded into Victor Wooten's Center for Music and Nature near Nashville, Tennessee. He also teaches a popular summer workshop at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Victor plays Fodera basses and likes to incorporate yin/yang symbols into his media.
