The Group

Sealed Vinyl LP.  Originally called The Group, and later The New Group, this vocal trio could be seen at the Village Vanguard in April 1963 - no mean feat for three singers!  They were part of the vocalese movement pioneered by Lambert, Hendricks & Ross (and eventually followed up by Manhattan Transfer).  Ann Gable, from Toronto, provided the glamour.
